University application deadlines
Most Spanish universities accept applications between June and September. Late submissions are available if there are free places.
It takes about 3 months to prepare your university application, supporting documents and submit everything. We highly recommend starting the preparation process 12-18 months before deadlines.

University application requirements
Documents required for Master’s students:
Entrance exams take place June or September. Exams are written, and three of them are compulsory – Spanish, Philosophy or History of Spain, and a foreign language (English, German, French, Italian or Portuguese), and one is additional. If you are not successful in summer, you can take it again later in autumn.
Language requirements
There aren’t that many English-taught programs in Spain, they’re usually available at private business schools.
You’ll need to take a DELE language exam and score at least 60 points with a minimum of 30 out of 50 in each section.

Tuition fees
Tuition fees at state universities start at €800 and go up tp 3500 per year for Bachelor’s programs, and €800-3,500 – Master’s. Private universities are more expensive, but costs do not usually exceed €20,000 per year. Some business school programs may cost as much as €25,000 or higher.
The cheapest programs are usually in Law, Engineering, Physics, and Social Sciences.
Living costs
Living costs start at €600 in southern regions, and can reach as high as €1,500 in bigger cities.

A student visa in Spain allows you to study, participate in exchange programs, and work as an intern for more than 3 months. You need to be accepted by a Spanish university before applying for a visa. Upon arrival, students must apply for a student resident card at the immigration office within a month.
A student visa allows you to work up for to 20 hours per week.
